Established since 1984 we have built up a reputation for unrivalled standards of service and expertise. We have a team of highly qualified staff with over 100 years of combined experience in all aspects of travel both retail and corporate.

All my cruise holidays have been favourite in one way or another all have been memorable in their own way. The best port destination may not have been on a favourite ship, and the best ship may not have had the best cabin so with so much experience you can be sure you will get first hand and honest advice from me.

Silversea, Celebrity, the Fjords & beyond

My favourite cabin would have to have been on Silversea. My favourite ship overall would be Celebrity, any of the Solstice class ships. As far as destinations are concerned the most stunning has to have been the Norwegian Fjords although sailing around an active volcano, the island of Stromboli, was pretty awe inspiring and the islands around the Adriatic coast of Croatia and Montenegro are beautiful.

The Baltic

I also enjoy cruises to cities to soak up the different architecture, culture and history. The most memorable of these is the Baltic which included the amazing city of St. Petersburgh with it’s Palaces, churches and of course the famous Hermitage museum. My second favourite city of the Baltic was Stockholm. So unexpected and so pretty with all it’s waterways and islands.

The most memorable experience of all, however, is sailing out of Venice through the Grand Canal, truly a sight to behold with all it’s Palaces and the famous St. Marks Square. Then, of course, there is sailing through the Bosphorous past Istanbul, well, enough, I could go on and on and on…..

River Cruising

Then there is river cruising, a totally different but equally enjoyable experience, meandering through small towns and countryside, travelling through locks and best of all stopping right in the centre of town so you get off and are already in the middle of the old town which would have grown up centuries before because of it’s location on the river.

We are fully independent but as members of the Travel Network have the buying power and backing of a large organization

  • We represent all the major tour operators, cruise lines, airlines, hoteliers, and car hire companie\'s from all categories and are able to advise on the best, most suitable product for you, your family, groups and most especially your pocket.

  • We make it a priority to get to know on a personal level the likes, dislikes and needs of our travelers and to make every effort to ensure these needs are met.

  • I have personally been on around 35 cruises from 15 different cruise lines so couldn’t be better placed to give trustworthy advice

  • We have extensive experience in all sectors of the travel industry, leisure, corporate and conferences and events.

I suppose it’s no surprise that may favorite interest is traveling, and top of the list is cruising followed by driving holidays with city breaks hot on its heels. Of course, the family is the most important part of my life and with a husband, 2 grown up children and 4 grandchildren they keep me pretty occupied. I joined the travel industry at the age of 18 with Thomas Cook and after a spell at home with the children then rejoined the industry and have retained my passion for travel ever since.

My favorite cruise line

It’s difficult to pick an absolute winner when it comes to favorite cruise line but if I had to choose it would probably be Celebrity as it ticks most boxes. The cabins are a good size, the food is good and well presented, the ships are clean and beautifully appointed and it sits at the upper end of middle market so is not too hard on the pocket.

My favorite destination

My favorite destination is probably Venice. It’s such a magical and unique place and there is so much to see immediately beyond it. The mountain spa town of Abano, the glass making center of Murano and the majesty of the Dolomite mountains, rugged and snow-capped all year round.

Why I love cruising

Cruising for me accomplishes all that a holiday should be for those who don’t want to crash out on a beach day after day. You board your magnificent vessel and are escorted to your cabin where you can unpack and be transported to a different and fascinating destination each day without the stress of continually packing and unpacking. The freedom of not having to decide what to do today is relaxing in the extreme, and with a choice of both formal and informal dining, the cruise offers everything you might want from a land based holiday and more. Activities during the day and various entertainments each evening together with comprehensive childrens and teenage clubs make it a perfect holiday for all age groups.
